The Battle of Lone Pine
The story of Lone Pine

We have searched extensively through family records, descendants, the Australian War Memorial, State archives and more in an effort to piece together a complete history of these brave souls. Sadly, despite all efforts, no photographs could be found for two of our Diggers James William Bozier Barr and William Robert Lefio. Their images appear to have been lost to history.
The 29 plaques honouring these servicemen will be on display at the 11am Upper Coomera RSL ANZAC Service at the Upper Coomera Community Centre.
A sincere thank you to the Northern Gold Coast RSL Sub Branch and Coomera Valley Rotary for their dedication and assistance in ensuring the stories of these individuals are preserved for future generations.
Lest we forget.

Why do we wear rosemary on Anzac Day?

Local Diggers WW1 plaques.
It has taken a lot of after hours work, but we have completed the plaques of WW1 Diggers who never came home. A few of the individuals are in addition to the names on our local war memorials.
