The Upper Coomera War Memorial had found a beautiful new home in Tallowwood Park in time for Anzac Day 2025
Specialist stonemasons handled the move with great reverence ensuring the unknown soldier now sits peacefully within the serene surrounds of the park inviting the community to join in remembrance.
Finishing touches and landscaping works took place in preparation for the 2025 Anzac Day Ceremony.
The memorial’s new location was a combined effort by the Rotary Club of Coomera Valley (the memorial custodians) and the Heritage Management Unit from the City of Gold Coast.
For over a century the memorial stood proud at the intersection of Tamborine Oxenford Road and Charlies Crossing Road North.

Prior to its relocation Ex and current serving service men and women along with local schools and residents would march from the School of Arts on Reserve Road to the Memorial each ANZAC Day.
Now at the Memorial's new home the march begins at Highland Reserve State School located on Highland Way and proceeds to the Memorial at Tallowwood Park, Rose Valley Drive Upper Coomera.
